Jərnē is a project to build an international community platform that provides opportunities to develop intercultural skills through shared experiences online. It was instigated by three women – a musician, a dancer, and an educator, but credit for its success is due to all of the individuals and communities that come together to make it real.

We asked the questions – ‘Why do we travel?’ ‘Can we create that online?’ and ‘Will it make the world a better place?’ And our answer was, YES! In a time when travel is not always an option, we can give people a way to connect with others, to welcome the culture beyond, and develop intercultural skills vital to the development of global communities, all online.
